I have never printed a photo but I have heard it is so fascinating...I sometimes think that usefilm shouldn't be called 'film ' anymore , because all we see is digital manipulation.Kisses, Olga.
ps I always print my photos, not by myself, but all in all , this is the point of photography...to see them in paper, not on a screen!

Thanks for your nice words dear Olga.. and thanks for the time looking through my portfolio and even my really old photos .. it was a long time since I had last seen this photo of mine myself .. Using the "zooming" technique manually and specially with a non-digital camera was and still is one of the most exciting things I ever do in photography .. In this case .. it was actually even more exciting cause I printed the photo in the lab myself ..

I would have done this only with the help of photoshop and I actually wanted to see the image because I was curious if you have used manual technique, and yes...this is more authentic than a mere push of a photoshop button.Excellent, I envy you!

Well done. I can hardly wait to get a camera where I can combine camera motion and zoom motion to make Luxagraphic images.

Wow, I didn't know there was a zooming technique! Must research that or something...Really cool result with this great subject (gotta love 'em). Excellent!

Take care,

fantastic shot!
its very surreal, its like the track and zoom effect which we use when filming certain shots, i have never seen this done with a camera before but all i know is that its really hard to do with a video camera.
so well done, very unique!

This is a very interesting and effective image. I have heard of this technique before, and this example is almost impressionistic. Most impressive.

Hi Russell ..
Well I took this one on a tripod !! But I've gotta few wich are handheld. I think if you start with longer exposures like 1/8 second and even 1/4 or 1/2 second it's better, I mean it would be a bit easier.. anyways with those exposured I think sumetimes the picuter is even more beautiful .. I got a few wich i'll scan and upload later maybe !!
Thankx a lot for looking at my photos and commenting !!!
Good luck on your work !!

Regards,
aLi

Ali,
Well done,
I have tried the zooming technique a coupl of times, but with limited success.
Did you do this handheld, or was a tripod involved??
Will have to try the zoom again sometime.
Thanks for the inspiration.

;D Yeah! I feel like I am going to be run over by a sunflower! Fun! Kind of feels like it is honking loudly at me as it rushes forward. Thanks for your nice comment about the Blush of Spring pic I just posted. We both like to play, it seems.
