About Alessandra (the bride) and Naudia. I thought this one would look really good in black and white. We were starting to lose the sun, so the colors were disappearing anyways. Tell me what you think.

I think it's a great shot Darren. Wish the little girl would have had a nicer smile, I think it would have made the picture a little better.

I agree that the skin tones could use a touch of brightening. I love the way the dresses flow together...nice.

This is beautiful! The poses, positions on the gowns and tender embrace are excellent. This is a capture that will last a lifetime (the bride and her family will enjoy it for hours on end). The background creates atmosphere and you have told a bit of the story about where they are (near a bridge and and water), while managing to avoid having the horizon line of that portion of the landscape running through the subjects. That is good. Yes, the light wasn't ideal, and you could always selectively brighten the skintones up a bit if you want to make them stand out a bit more from the values which now are close to the same values as the lawn. This is gorgeous, and once you have tapped all of the potential in the skintones, it will sing loud and clear.

What do I think? I think this is very beautiful. You have captured their individual personalites very well. Your creativity in not giving up when things don't go your way is a credit to you. Well done.

Thankyou also Darren for your wonderful comment on my image. I am truly flattered that you have added me to your friends list. Your portfolio is very beautiful. I look forward to chatting some more.

I thank you all for the comments. I suppose that I need to calibrate my monitor for brightness. I will get to work on that immediately. Thanks friends!

I think the colour never disappear...good shot. The background perhaps is distracting and the subject to dark....i believe.
