Very nice shot Teunis, and we don't use our new bikes to park at the station, because there's a great chance you won't find it back when you return from work.

But of course the Dutch made their own country and seeing the future they made it a flat one. That way they would be able to be good envirnomental citzens when the time came!
Been there a few times and understand the awe of all those bikes.
A good photo but a little let down by the noise.

excellent composition and pic that shows mainly our different realities , because if that would be in my country, I assure you that in half hour all the bicycles had been stolen, hahahahaha!!! Just today two bicycles were stolen that were chained in the door of the church and some months ago a thief with a great knife stole the bicycle of my 9 year-old nephew and I live in a residential neighborhood, you can already imagine how are the things in the poor neighborhoods, hahaha!!! you finish there until without clothes. I think that in Brazil is the same

haha, i recall renting a bike a number of times in the Netherlands...each time I worried about not being able to find it, so I always locked it somewhere away from the crowds.
i think this part (and many others) of the dutch culture is wonderful. what a great country it must be to live in.
i digress...great shot. love the infinite nature ...but it seems the image has suffered from some serious noise. cool photo anyways. cheers, todd
