I thought it was Giza too! but when i looked closer i was pleasantly surprised. This has a lot of very nice compositional elements that compensate for the 'giza effect'!

Heh, from a quick glance at the thumbnail I thought this from Giza. That might signify this image's only complication, though, that the dark line at the horizon runs through the base of the roof of the building. I like that there is enough range of tones that they still contrast off each other when you look closer, though. That said, I like the placing of the sun and actually freezing the bird there was a nice job. Nice warm colours, too.
