The heavy grain works nicely, makes me think back to art class when we would draw an image out of dots. Cool~

hi!!! dear Stefan... long time no see my friend... missed your work!!! hopefully i see smt from you soon... well... this is the negative itself directly scanned in an ordinary (not film) scanner... it had many more details on, that were lost during the scanning - it always happens every time i try it - but gives that blurry and grainy effect... warmly... emy :)

You know trees are one of my fav subjects, and this is a very original interpretation. I love the way you have cropped this Emy, and the grain adds an almost surreal feeling. Congrats.

thanks a lot for the title ;)

without-> it would be hard as the texture eats the object...like painting with sand...wonderful...

a hug

Makes me think of the very first photograph - asphalt in the emulsion and hence quite "grainy" :-) It is very fine - I wonder how you did it.

Waundering around in Emy's dream..... or in some magic garden where the specific gravity of things has been reversed and the air is as dense as the trees. And so very tactile that I can't resist running my fingers across the screen of my monitor. Love it!!

I have a strange imagination today - have been outdoor to shot some textures, mainly stone surfaces - and therefore i was imagine a stone here, even though the title tells me it should be a tree. I looked and looked and suddenly the tree appeared to me.....a tree in a snowstorm or in a "heavy" mist. Magic image, have a dream-character that i like!

A hug,
Jeanette
