Hi Verena, The discussion about the toning is a completely subjective, and I can only agree with what you like best or what you feel most comfortable about. Like this series; as they show the true identity of the building, but split up and divided fairly equally over the individual shots. Good stuff, Verena!
Cheers,
Hugo

Hi Verena,
also die einladung nehme ich gerne an ;-)
ich finde die tönung wirklich fein. die vielen geometrischen strukturen sind ebenfalls gut gelungen. nicht das beste in der serie, aber trotzdem gut.

my dear Verena... i so much enjoy to browse through series of photographs exploring one thing or idea and then comment on them as a whole... your daily way out is trully very well seen and presented... the toning is fine to me as it increases the feeling of aged materials...of lives passed by... living their own marks as scratches to the staircase wood... it has a special mood throughout and a consistency that gives to the series a unity... personally, i believe that my fav one is III but watching the thumbnails with all 4 together it came to my mind the works of M.C.Escher depicting impossible buildings and spaces... it would be a great collage on the wall these four pics in large prints!!!! congrats and kisses... emy :)

Now all we need to know is the key under the mat... or above the door frame... as U No Who would bring a bottle to share... with a single yellow tulip... should I survive the rising temptation...
the tones are just perfect...

:).. for seeing you first, and the for a glass of red wine ...I hope to travel to your town Verena.:). I like the way you cropped this one combinated with the angle you choose to capture it. It is in MHO quite unusual, but the result is here and excellent. The light that one can see by reflection on two different levels due to your point of view enhances the feeling of depth. The tones for me, are pretty nice. Very nice work Verena, I like it Cheers Verena Fabrice
