Been trolling through your entire portfolio, and I have to say it has been a real education in photoshop layering and post processing. I've added you to my associates list to see what other tricks you have planned in the future.
I prefer this color composition to the black and white because the balance is so well done and executed.

Very interesting combo - I like the color version better but that is my bias (not a big fan of b/w). The horizonal lines very strong, balanced by the wispy clouds.
Snow on the beach is very uncommon here in Texas, although I imagine you see it more often!
Focus very nice.
