Thank you Stephen. I was so excited to finally see a spoonbill up close. That pink is so light that at first I couldn't tell he wasn't white until we got closer. And then I only realized what he was by the way he was moving is beak left and right in the water searching for food. Only bird I've seen do it like that. So cool. Fabulous capture Marilyn, the colours of the spoonbill are astounding :-)

Bill, Do you know Carl Johnson state park and Lover's Key. Over the drawbrige north a couple of miles. I've been in that area many times but never behind the Holiday Inn and that's where it is. Can't wait to go back there on a clear dry day. Shhhh it's a secret ;o)~ Marilyn
