About I found a bird paradise today called Estero Lagoon which I didn't know existed until just recently. It was overcast and rainy today but worth wading thru muddy water and getting wet and sandy to get closer to these beauties. Just hope my camera survived the humidity.

Thank you Stephen. I was so excited to finally see a spoonbill up close. That pink is so light that at first I couldn't tell he wasn't white until we got closer. And then I only realized what he was by the way he was moving is beak left and right in the water searching for food. Only bird I've seen do it like that. So cool. I'm also very pleased to have met you and all the other new friends at usefilm. Thanks for your kind comments and help. Enjoy the holiday. Marilyn

Bill, Do you know Carl Johnson state park and Lover's Key. Over the drawbrige north a couple of miles. I've been in that area many times but never behind the Holiday Inn and that's where it is. Can't wait to go back there on a clear dry day. Shhhh it's a secret ;o)~ Marilyn
