Oliver, I just read your english is not fluent, so I'll keep it simple... Excellent capture! Incredible perspective, we see the man standing behind through the eyes of the bird!

Wow, great photo! I second Ian's sentiments, your photos of "psychiatric people" are both moving and respectful. In this picture you caught a wonderfully dramatic moment, congratulations.

hello ian,
thank you for your comment. my English language istn't very much. So I was print the text and will translate is in the next days and will answer to you. Some questions I understood and I'll answer to you now: this pictures here isn't a part from "simply the life", it's an ordinary streetphoto ;-) all the shown projects are my own initiative. the other text I'll translate... best regards, oliver

Wow. Surely you could not have anticipated this would be so magnificent. Perfectly in place for the moment.
Oliver, I have a question about the context of these. Is this the same group as your "just the life" series? Even if it isn't, they are a lucky group to have you to affirm their experience. It is a very specialized, localized niche you have created. I'm working in psychiatry (for a couple of months more). I have been amidst it for nearly twenty years. For a while we were diversifying our services in New Zealand but the drive for that has sadly dissipated in recent years. I know broadly in europe there are many more specialized services, I have friends who sail disturbed children from Switzerland to the caribean (they cycle to spain first), but I had never really thought of the potential of a photographer in reflecting what they are back to them. I know photographers do reportage, and perhaps, you know, slightly exploitative shots of street people etc etc etc... but I imagine the subjects of your photography, and their families, and those who work with them directly, benefit directly from your work. That's really really rare, in fact it's almost a taboo here. We'll take photos for the corporates, politicians or hospital boards, I love how your work could actually directly benefit the people in and around the photos you take. I don't know what exactly I'm asking... Is it all your initiative? Is it a trial/temporary role? Have they seen these photos? If not, can you imagine how much of a difference it could make to this presumably small group to have them. Very rare. Love what you're doing.
