Fine photo. Maybe if you cropped it on the right (getting rid of the cupboard) it would be even better. Well done

You have talent that cannot be taught, and in this photograph, a moment that's seldom captured on film. Fantastic!

The three "portrait with cat" are wonderful. You have been able to create a special surround and ambient. Tones, light and a good photographer did the rest.

I like the shot. The cat really adds to the portrait.

Yes, the tomcat Gandy is there on purpose (and that was the problem, because he is very energetic =o))

This is nice and very intense. The square format lends itself very well to this kind of portrait.

An extremely interesting portrait, with the right atmosphere, a strong composition, a nice story to tell. The two negative points -aming the many positive ones- are in my opinion the cut feet and the single cat eye visible. I do not agree with Jon about the negativity of the centered subject in a square pic and the too much background. The rest is perfect and once more demonstrates the great creativity -a art nouveau- of you people from eastern europe.

Hello! Since this is your first post let me be the first to say "Welcome to Usefilm". I quite like the use of black and white here, the shadows and slight underexposure give it a moodiness that I find attractive. Placing yourself in the exact center of the shot makes it to me a bit static, although the cat helps (what happened to its other leg, btw?) Ummm... maybe I would have zoomed in a bit closer, more subject, less background - particularly at the top although that is an interesting painting you've got hanging there.

Anyway... welcome!

Jon
