this is a very lovely photograph. the expression on the girl's face just forces you to confront her and stare right back. her arms behind her back make me wonder if she feels vulnerable, or afraid because her photograph is being taken. photographs like these always intrigue me, because usually children cannot stop smiling when they know someone is going to take a picture of them; there is a certain depth to all children and you really captured that here. compositionally, it's fabulous as well. i love the coloring also. thanks for sharing and for you comment on my photograph!
