Hi Patrick, Like I said in my previous comment, I think the subdued tones give the photo a bit more of an artistic look than the subject calls for (IMHO, of course)
Although well composed, nicely using the geometry to "fade out" the top right corner and keeping the perforated metal very well in focus at a sight angle to add some depth to the material, I think a slightly smaller angle to the metal perforations, using a nice and shallow DOF could've created a bit more tension and dynamism in this shot. Notwithstanding the technical very good capture (what else is new?) I think a slightly different approach could've really made this one tick.

Your macro images of headphones and volume (knappar) are my favourites in portfolio right now. They are beautifully composed, really sharp and the color or BW tones are simply superb. very good work. The green in this image is so perfect
