Very original, love how the light hits her hair, making it glow, and really emphasizing the whole alone theme. Nice one Emy~

dear Biliana this is a huge park called The Meadows in Endiburgh Scotland and this pianist takes her little piano on wheels every afternoon and she plays among the trees... so it is possible... i couldn't believe it myself when i first saw it but couldn't get any closer to her because she clearly showed that she didn't want to be photographed... normally i wouldn't have taken the pic but it was to unreal to let it go by... a small personal memory from my visit there... glad you like it too sweety... thanks... :)

pianist with withe hair in the hood....i love the choice of your subject...What a pity for the pedestrian in the background!...but this your shot have reminded me one of my preferite photographer: Arthur Tress. Do you Know him ? If you don't know him, i advise you to search his portfolio on net or on bookstore. try to see "theatre of mind" or "dream collector...:-) Regards, M

i think it would have more impact if no other humans were present in the frame...or maybe not...hmm,i could think that the people walking away were previously with her and their departure is what makes her alone...oh,i don't know! the light is nice, anyway, and the song too... bye emy, kostas

Hey! This is a very interesting find.....and it makes me wonder why I do not see musicans ...with piano....and trees as an odd juxtaposition. Maybe it's because the pattern of lights and darks has a sense of musical notation. I like this!!!!!!

She sure looks alone. Great composition.. very special. Great toning and light. Might want abit more sharpness on her face but then again its nice that we cant see any details.. makes her even more "alone" if you understand what i mean. Great text also!! =)
Cheers
