Thankyou Patrick. I really wish I had more opportunity to photograph Roger. I did individual shots of all the other boxers and we had arranged for Roger to have them done too. But the doctor arrived late and held up Roger and then I had to leave straight away for the fights. That was my one regret, as I really wanted to capture the look in his eyes more. I love trying to capture one's soul in their eyes and with this kind of face, it is like a dream come true to work with.

Biliana, I know what you mean. I got many great shots of this man, but I ummed and ahhed over them. During the fight I actually turned to my buddy and said that I am having difficulty getting the clarity on Roger especially when he was in the same shot as Colin (his opponent), due to his skin colouring and the dark background. Because it was fast moving I didn't have the time to play with settings and just had to go, go, go. Which meant that some of his shots weren't as good as if I had the time to adjust. This particular shot was during an interval. But their intervals were very short and I had a lot to cover in that time slot.
