About The colors of the fall here are not so prolific, but sometimes there is just a small view of just the right tree that just strikes me with increadibule vividness.

Great shot! Looks like the golden tree is stuck in jail. Excellent composition!

wonderful shot, tim. I really love this one. Still & peaceful - just beautiful. You have captured the feeling of a warm fall day here on the coast perfectly.

Thanks Tim for the reply the D70 camera question. And thanks for the useful tip on the dust question.

Hi Warren,
I bought this camera in August and have taken close to 8000 photos with it. So far so good. The more I use it the better the experience gets. The only problem that they seem to have, and I can't imagine the it is exclusive to just Nikon SLR's, is that as the lens moves in and out it creates a vacuum in the body. This then sucks in small amounts of air which in turn has dust particles which over a period of time settle on the internal CCD (the stationary light sensitive film) this in turn may leave a dust mark on your image. You can get it cleaned after a bit or there is a CCD cleaning kit to buy if you are the handy kind of guy. I recommend this camera HIGHLY

Cheers, Tim

Tim, I see these shots but never seem to capture what I see. It must be your painter's eye cos this is perfect. Well done my friend.

Wonderful shot Tim. Can I ask, are you happy with the Nikon D70? I've been thinking about getting one.

Yes lovely lines, the tall trees make a nice frame to look through at the special colour

Tim, I like images like this, too. Interesting composition of a sometimes difficult subject, trees. You've managed to keep this clean, colors vivid, and found a complementary background. Kudos!

Lovely the height in the shot ! Also nice contrast between broadleafed trees with yellow autumnleaves, and coniferes with darkgreens !

Tim,
Great shot! The lighting is superb and makes the tree look like its on fire! I love the strong juxtaposition of vertical 'constraining' trunks tovering over 'expansive', colourful decidious tree. Has an almost poetic quality!

Good Morning Tim.
This is awesome...again a fine example of your eye to see and capture these wonderful images.
There's is much to this image, shadows, highlights, blue sky, greenage all complementing each other.
I would have probably walked right past this and never seen it's potential.
Well seen and captured.
