Hi Lena, "Maybe it's not absolutely excellent"? Well, I do believe it is. Very joyful and dynamic, especially with the repetitive gates. Very well captured, and a great use of DOF to emphasise the look in your son's eyes. Definately a great shot!

The out focusing the foreground is excellent!
The crop is excellent!
The way the hooks line up makes an excellent visual guide for the eye's to follow and finally come to rest on the subject.
The lighting is excellent!
Your choice on B+W, (IMO) is excellent!
The expression on your sons face and in his eye's - outstandingly excellent!
