this exists because conscience doesn't.

a great picture, simply because it has a great message.

I'd have loved to see the kid's feet.

very well done, Latif .. keep up the good work.
kind regards,
ned

This is a powerful image. It is all the more distressing to know that this child is living in one of the wealthiest nations on earth. Your have captured her and her enviornment. How did you correct the distortion with the 10.5 mm lens? Did you use Nikon Capture and then crop?
Excellent image.

This is very very very powerful! A LOT of people do not realize there are others who are less fortunate. This image is remarkable! Congrats, and well done.

Salam Latif
Not easy to see that there are such poor people in a country where some of the richest in the world come from, but some arab friends already told me.
Great journalistic street photo

This is a very strong and real image. I wish this could be only a representation, with actors and sceneries... but NO! This is reality. Sad AND true!

Well done.

Thank you Isaac for your deep remark... yes, it's curiosity or perhaps hope. The look in her eyes explains how unfair life is and how decadents most of us are, and always wonders if we stops war and arms and spend the money for poor people or as I could call them "people of lesser God"

Very nice work Latif,

I do wonder though if it is aptly titled...then, your capture does make me want to reach out to this child and offer her comfort, love and assurances.

Yet, when I look at her(??) somehow I don't see fear or misery in the eyes...rather curiosity and perhaps a "knowing" of who she is. Poverty is evidenced by her surroundings and dress but at that age perhaps she has something else on her mind at this particular moment.

Still, very nice work and great capture.

Congrats,

Isaac
