About The back view of a small flower. I know the DOF is out, but I liked the overall effect.

The chunks missing out of the yellow leaves are not from me, that is how the petals are.

Really unusual flower.

So many people agree with you on that one Sergio. It is amazing what the flowers can portray.

Thanks MaLuisa. I felt it was a little blurred. I know the flower was shrivelled from age but I was hoping to get a sharper image. But all the same I am pleased you find it appealing.

Very unusual view... Love the texture and the colors... Excellent composition Judi... In my humble opinion the DOF is just right... You managed to get a very detailed look of the flower...

Cheers,

MaLuisa

You don't have a weird imagination. I too saw that in the photo. As did other viewers.

Thankyou Ameed. The flower was old but it gave good positioning and outline. I have other shots which I will upload in time of the fresh flowers. They are a beautiful red.

My beautiful fairy lady. Your words are beautifully spoken, they are a reflection of your heart.

I once went onto a site where you give them your name and they tell you your fairy name.

Maybe the lighting wasn't good but I think it's worked in your favour Judi. It's a great composition, not quite as symmetrical as your "Lineage" but it does have a very apt title.

in my mind's eyes you just became the queen of the orange color...

oragne is the healing, soothing color of the eastern culture... I keep looking at this fine image and absorb all your symbolic "comments"...

Thankyou Cagatay. The bright colours are normal for this flower. We have trees around us at the moment covered in them. I will be uploading more of them shortly. This one is quite deteriated in age.

Thanks dear lady. They are only quite small and my light today was terrible for macro. But I suppose we can't always have good days.

There is something delicate about this - beauty can be fragile in a physical sense, but strong in its effect.
