Marily, I am sorry I had not added you to my friends list and have missed some shots, am just on my way to work will look at others this evening. This is lovely, yes they are great, but not easy to get a shot of. I have quickly tried a crop and to get rid of some of the white reflection, to try and keep attention on beautiful dragaonfly. See if you like - as I say just a quick job Margaret

Thanks so much Den. They are one of my favorite creature to photograph. I have a favorite pond I go to with my tripod early in the morning and sit and be patient just to capture one like this. Butterflies are also a favorite but more elusive...Marilyn

I've said it before and I say it again. These creatures are so damned hard to photograph well but you've managed it perfectly. Terrific composition. Den

Excellent macro Marilyn. I find macro photography is my favorite to try to accomplish. From the looks of things you are well on your way to doing a fine job at them as well. I can recommend a co-worker of mine Stephen Bowden for examples as well. He tends to thrive in that area and could provide some handy tips if needed.
