Another great capture Dave. One quick question, did you use a polorizer on the shot?

Jim

Thanks Dave, I think pick is random function... :)! I like simplicity here. However it's easy to see that image is using visual contrasts very well. And symmetrical composition you created is very effective.

Your version looks good too, Don! We had some rainy weather previously, I wanted to see as much blue sky as I could! Thanks for your input, that's what we're all looking for here!
Dave.

Beautifully composed image Dave, I love the way you have taken it at a slight angle allowing for a lot of great textures and lines. The color tones are beautiful and also the lighting. Alison

Well, (sound of gavel) here's the judgment. There's no way this can be improved. The perspective is spectacular from this carefully chosen point of view. The exposure is perfect, leaving detail in the window as well as in that shadow. This is excellent work.

This is a beautiful building. I thought it could use a little contrast and cropping. My reason for the cropping was to make the building look bigger and taller in the frame. Let me know what you think. Don.

I like this. What's the story behind the design? It looks like a stylised bird's head or similar (the circular grille as the eye).
Perfectly captured.
