Great capture. I love the shooting angle. I see you are using a 105mm lens, so there should be no distortions; however the curvey structure of the flower gives a touch/feel of distortion, which I like for some reason.

Wow! This is a great macro shot. The colors, saturation, and form are excellent. I've never seen anything like this. Do you know what it is? And what part of the USA was this taken in? Was this a wild flowering plant?
