HA ! Superbly done and a sense of humour. I can see you enjoy photography in unusual lighting situations.

Wow, this is almost unreal, with the stars in the sky and loneny phone booth brightly lit!
A wonderful photo, my favourite, too!

Just a perfect shot, ideal conditions, well managed as to exposure ! I'm amazed to see 30s as exposure time, the box must have been very faintly lighted then ? ..

It's a very fine photo indeed, Keith, one of your best IMHO, and it is now among my favourites! It certainly does have that mysterious, almost other-worldly, feel to it. Spot on!

Roger, you are correct the Tardis was a blue police phone box, but this somehow had that feel, if you know what I mean. Oh and yes the stars are real. All I've done on PS is a little sharpenning and saturation boost/contrast adjust.

What a great shot. Very very well done. The colours just leap out at you. Impressive.
P.S. Doctor Who is currently showing again here in Australia. Thanks for helping an old feller revive an interest in the past.

I'd be worried if I were you. You're being spied on. They perhaps want to transport you off somewhere so keep your camera with you at ALL times. Great atmosphere to this shot Keith and so well exposed. Den

Not a Tardis, though. That was a Police Box, not a Phone Box... A lovely shot, though, with that beautiful gradient in the sky, and the light within illuminating the grass all around. Are the two stars "real" or artistic enhancements?

Really, Keith! Davison was the best doctor! Although for an old guy, Pertwee certainly was dashing and handsome.
hee hee hee
Actually, I wasn't thinking that you PS'd the light; I was thinking more in terms of a remote flash; either with a slave or radio. Oh, and how long was the exposure?
Still a damned great photo.
Nice 'story' about getting up early for work, too. nudge nudge wink wink

What an excellant shot! It looks so unreal as if the box got ready for ake off (to follow the two stars (other boxes?) in the sky!! Kind regards Franz

Sue, thanks for the comment. Yes the light was already on, what you see is what i saw, no PS effects here.
My office is 80 miles from home, so each day I try to find a different route to work, and to get there before the traffic I leave early (with my camera of course).
Keith
ps - I think John Pertwee was the best Dr

Damn! I read the title of your photo and I started to hear the "take off/dematerializing" noise in my head. :-) So, which Doctor was inside? Peter Davison is my fave. He was the only cute one. :-D
What a neat photo, Keith! Did you arrange the lighting? Or was it equipped with an overhead bulb? How long was the exposure?
And what the heck were you doing wandering the countryside 30 minutes before dawn?!?! Just arriving home from the pub? :-)
