Anthony, I really like your perspective here and the dof is fantastic! Reminds me of a sports ad! Very nice work here!

Matej, thanks for checking out these shots. I didn't catch the wierd skin tones on the blurred player on the right until you mentioned it. I'm curious myself what caused it. I don't recall seeing it on any of my other shots (at least none that caught my attention) I will have to go back and check and then check my workflow to see if I am doing something to cause it.
Also, interesting comment on the idea of sitting back there and doing 'nothing'. Sometimes my daughter plays defense and complains of "doing nothing" lol. I changed the title to better reflect this. I believe you are right, it doesn't convey a 'real' defensive stance or situation. Thanks for pointing this out to me.
Take care,
Anthony

I agree it's an unusual perspective, it's interesting to see the action in a supporting role rather than as the main focus, although perhaps it's just a bit too far, shifting the feeling from active, alert, prepared defense towards 'hmmm there's not much to do on this end of the field'.
On the technical side, I find curious the manner in which the background is blurred, e.g. the colour effects on the skin of the player in the blue dress. Is this characteristic of the lens or is it the camera's chip?

Thank you both for your kind words and for taking the time to look at my photo.
I thought it was cool because it's a perspective you don't normally see. A few people who have seen it commented that "it's a shame it's blurry..." LOL...
Thanks again,
Anthony
