Patrick,
I like this shot very much. the harmony of the pillars and lights is great. The van and the man walking add a strong dynamic element. The perspective is great too. The graffitti is a nice touch!
nice work,
Omar

Thanks alot Hugo de Wolf for your fine comment and analyze! =) Im glad for your comments as you always takes your time to give a proper and thoughtful comment! You always seems to analyze it fully.. instead of giving it a peak and then a comment! People like you makes UF a great place! =)

Im really happy you liked it! Diagonal line could have helped it yes.. didnt thought about that at all.. perhaps if i took it from a lower angle i would get the roof as well.. could have become good.

Hi Patrick, creative tunnel approach. No exit here, and that's what I think makes it different from the others. Also, instead of a bottom up perspective / predominant line, this one is more horizontally orientated, which also pulls it out of the ordinary. I do feel the composition is a bit centered; and even though the car creates some dynamism, the layout makes it more static. Introducing a diagonal in the composition might've made this one a bit stronger, IMO. Still a very nice shot, and a very interesting fresh approach. Good job!

Cheers,

Hugo

Nice mood and very well composed... it took me a while to start seeing things: there's the criss-cross geometry of the pillars and the lights, the movement of the van and the man, and a subtle signature of a graffiti artist 'bad' on the right side of the two framing pillars.
You're a good photographer.

Hi Patrick,

nice finding, interesting combination of man and car ;-)

I'm struggling with the perspective and the distance between the viewer and the subjects. I guess a more closer look would help the image. just an idea though, good creative stuff as ever.

take care my friend,
Thilo

Fantastic shot! I like it because it has balance, an artistic arrangement of forms, lines and direction! Also it has a great antithesis, thematically speaking, and this, along with the sense of movement you gave it, leads to this image's breathing of harmony and again, honest depiction of the moment.
In other words, a great photo!
