Super shot.
I haven't come across many photographs with such a high ISO film.
I like the effect and the contrasts in this particular image are strong and add much to the overall feel.
Nicely done.

good to see that also more experienced stage photographers are preferring the 'no flash' policy, to be honest even I deny flash at all...still :)
but it is hard to get only a few good shots, at least for somebody who is not in this theme that much...
but about your shot, so powerful, grainy, clear, dynamic...
I will do some more studies from your stage shooting
Cheers, Verena

Hi Kostas! :-) I remember that very well. I even looked your posting up again, before I posted mine (was a pain in the neck to find it again...) and still love it. I saw Sonic Youth twice this year and enjoyed both shows. They are still fantastic and I will try to see them again if they perform here. I think they all live in NYC or close; so the chances are good :-) C.

great series. i like this one the best. that grain is perfect in capturing the atmosphere, ie. dark, gritty, grungy, cool etc.

Hi bro,
this one is different from nr 1. =) it reveals much more of the singer's body (and soul). I have to admit that I'm struggling a bit with the grain here as this one tends to look like a pencil drawing.
anyway, very intimate portrait.
take care, T-Bro

Hi C. This fits perfectly. Well composed, nice grain (important element in this one, I think...) and a very good tonal range. I like the Ilford delta 3200, but never succeeded in achiving such tonal differences... Clean and simple set up, but a very intriguing and powerful capture.
Cheers,
Hugo

Fantastic, the grainy tone is perfect to her thin and very obvious traits. It is really powerful, but yet quiet fragile, as if she is on her way out of the image and out of the world, lie she is defensively backing off.
