About I have always ment to stop and take a picture of this house, so while passing it this morning, I pulled onto the side of the rd. and shot through the window of the car. It was a rainy day so i could not get the sky to cooperate.

Wow, what an elaborate little home - upkeep must be a nightmare! I like seeing a place that people obviously enjoy and take pride in. I like that you captured the turning trees next to the house - like Kessia said, it's cool how some of the colors of nature are reproduced in the paint!

Kessia, the house is on the back road that I take through Darien.

Nice idea shooting from the car window. Then the residents don't have time to come out and yell at you because they want to know what you're doing. I'm glad you didn't get any closer. That front yard looks dangerous.

haha i like how the colors in the tree on the right hand side of the shot match a lot of the colors in the house! this house definitely looks familiar but i'm not really sure where it is. i think the punctum for me is the skeleton sticking out of the ground at the bottom! muy nice! Kessia

Good capture Alison, the colours are more than beautiful, it's really a nice house to capture. Sometimes shooting from the car's window gives perfect shots (I have some shots in my portfolio that were shot from my car's window including the shot titled "slowly but surely"), good work Alison.
Kind regards,
Khaled.

A very colorful house! Your image is well composedk with good light and colors. P.S. I often shoot from the car window, especially when shooting birds. Spread some food in an area I can focus the camera on and start snapping when the little critters arrive! lol
