Hi Paolo, Love the lighting in this one, as well as the rich tonal range. The relative low camera position works well, and I like the various levels of interest. Well exposed, keeping the contrasts and detail of the arces, without burning the areas of direct sunlight. Great shot.

E' una foto, come dire... sontuosa, dove c'è abbondanza di tutto, gioco di luci ed ombre, bianchi e neri puri e profondi, soggetti azzeccatissimi, inquadratura pressochè perfetta, forse avrei cercato di riprendere di più i due fidanzati, ma avrei perso il bellissimo disegno della volta, un po' come nell'immagine che ti hanno sugerito, no, decisamente è meglio la tua. Superb shot! Excellent view of the lights and shadows game which creates those very interesting shapes and patterns.
In this respect I fully agree with your framing, simplifying the image results in a great loss against a perfect composition.

Ciao Paolo,
questo tuo scatto è molto raffinato. Gli amanti sono "discreti" con la presenza di lei "accennata" appena percepibile visivamente. A mio parere sei riuscito ad esprimere quello che tutti gli amanti conoscono molto bene ossia la sensazione che quando sono insieme, loro sono l'universo e tutto il resto è una cornice.
Merita un fuori scala: 10 e lode.

First of all thank you for your suggestion and opinion about my shot I appreciated it a lot I understnd what you mean.Still
what I saw (before to shot) is a light beam diagonal path from the lower left corner linked to the lovers and then a light path drawed on the wall where the lovers was placed exactly in one of the arcades shapes projected by the sun light on the wall creating as a consequence a new geometrical shape on the flor and
opening to the infinity the light path (underlining by using shadows and light the different aspects of a love).
I apologize with you for my bad typed english Mike still I hope to give you exactly my feelings about shot...

It would seem that you included everything in this photo. There is so much going on that my eyes don't know what to look at. The details in the couple are minimal due to distance and the people in the background make me wonder what is going on. I like what is going on but I would simplify. This is what I did in 2 minutes but I am no pro, so I am just a guy with an opinion :-)

I would prefer to the all details of your image , but still this is very powerful and I really like it this way! I would crop the image where the benches stop but this is a matetr of preference of course!
