Thanks for the great compliment Mark! I am serious about photography and I study the "look" of different films, but I'm really only a beginner compared to many UF'ers. I'll be keeping an eye on your fine work. Best wishes, Kurt

Oops, somebody noticed. This picture was taken with Ektachrome 64 during the pre-Velvia days. I used to buy the expired Ektachrome and Kodachrome from the local stores and shoot all kinds of pictures. I picked Ektachrome 100 by mistake because I was in a hurry to go to work at 6:00 am when I uploaded the picture and it was the first one I saw on the list. (I have since then switched completely to Velvia and I forgot there was an Ektachrome 64). When I realized my error, I thought that nobody would notice anyway. But you did. You must be one serious photographer, you know your stuff. :) This picture was taken by the Kinzua Reservoir in the Allegheny Nat'l Forest in PA. I was on my way to meet my friends to do some camping and waterskiing when I saw it, it probably took me 30 sec. to stop the car and get set up for 2 shots before the light changed. And I missed the picture I first saw just 30 seconds ago... Thank you for your comments and it is quite a compliment that you like some of my pictures. Mark

Nature's original spotlight. Quiet, calm, moody. I like this shot because it reminds me of what I enjoy - an early morning walk in the woods with my Nikon, a tripod and a thermos of coffee. No one else around. And this image was recorded on film! A man after my own heart. I'm curious though as to which version of Ektachrome 100 this was shot on. I like the 100EBX (100VS)for its extra saturation, rather Velvia-like, but this doesn't seem to be that saturated. Is this the natural color version? And was this taken in Ohio? Best wishes, Kurt
