About	Saw the movie last week and came upon this scene at the weekend, which reminded me of it. It's on the road to Bodie and looking out over the Mono Basin in the distance. Used an ND Grad again and actual exposure was 1/200 @ f8.

Good composition and it's nice the way the eye is drawn through the landscape to the amazing cloud formations. A slightly warmer light and/or a little more foreground interest would have made it unbeatable.

Hi Bren, Awesome capture of the barren landscape. The sky adds alot to the composition, creating a very well balanced image. Good use of shadows and light, too. I like the distance cue towards the mountains in the background. Very good shot.
