About This image was also shot years ago on a trip to Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro. Here is a public building, can't remember exactly what it served to but it was beautifully made during our "empire" time. Our monarch wasn't a king but an emperor... Think big!

Well, the materials are impressive and well preserved. The stairs specially attracted my attention for its design and lines. I wish I had a 28mm at the time so I could include more of it.

It was shot with available light and using one of the T90's most interesting features - spot metering various areas and auto balancing them to produce a nice image.

As you see indoors the light was tungsten so it has a yellowish cast. Outside it was a cloudy day so light didn't overexposed more at the door and on the reflex. Exposure was very slow, about 1 or 2 seconds so I rested the camera on the handrail. It's quite sharp but at the bottom right you can see a part of it trying to get into the frame. I opted not to crop it or photoshop it now, maybe later I'll do some retouching there.

Film was Kodak's late Ektar 25 ASA. I loved it for it's sharpness, lack of grain, color. Unfortunately and maintaining its tradition, Kodak trashed one more good thing.
