Dear Verena,

amazing B&W capture, the textures of metal and water droplets are simply fantastic.
Regards,
Paulo

P.S.- I liked your portfolio so much that I added you to my friends - I specially love your B&W textures!....

Dear Verena, the power of simplicity in your photos is really strikng. I wish I could see things the way you see them. This is perfectly composed and exposed photograph! Bravo!

Hi dear Verena! Are you using an electronic microscope now? This is one of your best, to me! A powerful composition that reminds me of a neuronal structure, delivering knowledge all around! The tones are excelent and, once again, you revealed a special "eye" to see the "hidden" reality! Splendid!
Kiss.
Telmo.

Very impressive abstract shot! I've added this photo to my favorites. I agree with Hugo that the brightness in the edges is a little distracting. But again: it's a very impressive shot! Greetz, Servé

Hugo's so handy!
Still I think the light in the top left is useful for giving it shape (I get an nasty ants head when I extend it in m y brain.)

Hi Verena, Here's a shot I really like. the rain drops on this eye create an outstanding texture, and build the tension in this shot.

There's only one thing I wonder about. I do like off centered composition, but placing the middle of the "eye" a bit more to the center, a few things would've been easier to handle, I think. I'm not referring to panning the camera to the left, but to moving a bit more to the left yourself. It would've made it easier to reduce the brightness in the top left corner, which I think gives away a bit too much of the spherical shape of the object.

Secondly, I think the cracks running away from you over the surface of the spherical geometry would induce a stronger perspective feeling. Not sure about this, though.

Oh, well, It's not my shot, and I do like it alot, I'll just have to add this one to my favourites. It's one of those shots, that keep me thinking about different solutions, not necessarily better. Very well captured!

Cheers,

Hugo

ein schöner contrast zwischen der glatten oberfläche und dem Ausbruch ( oder durchbruch?).
Die Wassertropfen zerstören die Oberfläche noch zusätzlich.
Excellent!
