I definitely like this crop better.
Having the bird's head cover the whole canvas eliminates distracting elements like the upper corner and lays more accent on its terrific eyes. Very hypnotic!!!

How did You get so close?
My kids and I were fishing at the lake sunday and saw a bald eagle about 100 yards away, what a beautiful sight!
