Great shot! Kim, in technical terms, a glowball is a glass ball full of charged gas, and when you put electricity onto the glowing bit in the center, electrical tendrils arc out to the inside of the globe, looking like the above. :) For electricty, they move pretty slow. This is a brilliant shot though - love the fact its so close in that its quite abstract and not obviously "contained". Chris
Works well dead centre here... with all the blue tendrils. I like this a lot! What is a glowball? It seems that you needed quite a high speed film as well as a very low shutter speed.
