I don't like the colour of the wall behind it.It is rather distracting.Black would be better. But this is my poor opinion.Don't show it to kids. They will be frightened. You captured a sense of loneliness, I think?!All in all, don't listen to my silly things, I like it, that's why I saw it!Kisses, Rafi!

Sorry, George. I checked and found that we are beyond the first-second meeting stage. So forgive my mistake. The comments on your photos still hold true.

Of course you can refer to me as Rafi. Almost everybody else, including some of the few patients I stll have, do and I will take the liberty of refering to you as Richard.
Thank you for your generous, comprehensive comment on my "Wooden clown". I'm not sure that you are aware that I dedicated my "Flowerlight", posted today to you as a "Thank you" gesture for your constructive critique.
Music and psychology; a very interesting combination. My father, who was an ear, nose and throat specialist combined his medicine with the foemation of a string quartet, but his way of trying to teach me alienated me, so now I take photos and play the CD.
Allow me to make a suggestion: you may have noted while reading my bio, that I recently published a book that despite its name "Dialogues with Schizophrenia - the Art of Psychotherapy" has a much broader scope and practically includes , as someone once told me, my intellectual heritage.
If you give me your e mail address I can send it to you for your daughter. My e mail address is rafae1930@bezeqint.net
Unfortunately I cannot send you the book for free in any other form because my contract with the publisher won't allow it. Paperbound it would cost you $20, including mailing expeses if you want to purchase it directly from me. For that I would need your mailing address and I would gladly accept a personal check.
Regards,
Rafi

I will take the liberty of refering to you in the familiar, Rafi, since we have now met a few times on usefilm. Even a simple, static object can be presented in a dramatic fashion, as you have doen here by tilting the horizon. That, and the nice color saturation and exposed eye of the clown make this a fascinating image.

Noting your profession, my daughter graduated this year with a double major in psychology and music. She is now working at UCLA's Neuropsychiatric Institute prior to going back to school for her master's.

Clowns are magical--even the wooden ones. They are often true grotesques, are they not? Funny and frightening at the same time, and so very expressive. You shot this from a very effective angle . . .
