About This shot was taken last October on Sangalaki Island Indonesia. Amazing morning as the sun excited the ion particles following the previous days cyclone activity.
05.40 is a great time to rise here as every sunrise is humbling and a privalige to behold.

Yessssss! Bob, you've absolutely nailed the quiet beauty of a unique sunrise. This has a very ethereal character to it that is difficult to capture in the morning-- also a bit surreal the way the colors blend together and into the distance-- wonderful shot. Enjoy Indonesia-- again.

Thanks for comments on my sand abstract-- you "nailed" the essense of the photo, ie the shadow between the surf and sand. Cheers. Craig
