No, Craig, the Pen-FT was a half-frame SLR with the T standing for TTL. It had no pentagonal prism "hat" and was a really cool camera. Being made for half-frame shots the lenses would be ideal for the E-1. I believe there is an adaptor for them available on request from Olympus. It was quite my favourite camera for many years, in fact all the time I was shooting slides.

Hi Roger; these are really, really unusual photos-- sort of panoramas on steroids. It's even hard to come up with a frame of reference-- but I like seeing them.
I try to keep up on the E-1 rumor mill, but hadn't heard that a Pen FT type (range finder-- right?) may be in the offing. If so, that could be quite cool and a surprise too. Personally I'm hoping for an "E-2" w/ 8-10 MP sensor to be announced at the Photokina 9/28/04 in Cologne , Germany. Cheers. Craig
