Titia, I live near an Amish community in Maryland. Most weeks I drive through their farms and often purchase food. An excellent capture of a horse and buggy.

Great B&W transposition. The theme is interesting and the carriage well defined. I feel it would work better if the car behind would bet set more apart.

Thanks all for your comments.
Don, I took a tour of the East coast about three years ago, when I visited a lot of the poets I knew from the poetry website Piptalk.com. I stayed in Cape Cod, went to Philladelphia (Pottstown), took the train to Washington and from there all the way to Florida. Stayed for a week in Fort Lauderdale and went boat fishing and then travelled to Tampa where we stayed in a villa with about 16 poets from Australia, England, Texas, Michigan, Maryland and Florida and had a lot of fun.
But I knew the Amish people before, because I lived in Pensylvania 35 years ago. I got married in the States and we lived there for about two years, moved to Canada and from there back home in 1970.

I didn't know that you were over here. Thats the way it is over here. We are still in the horse and buggy days. The new and the old all in one picture. Don.
