lovely soft and directional lighting..
excellent choice of subject too...i love her confident confrontation of the camera in all these pictures..there is something very open and honest about her that comes through in the portraits..are you two good friends?
i wish you could have moved the camera closer and the background seems a little cluttered and is taking away from the main emphasis of the portrait.

She sometimes is even prettier in color than in B/W, which is quite rare in my opinion...

this is my favorite portrait of esther. these are the tones and use of grain that i love the best. the lighting and composition are wonderful. her pose and stare are exquisite. her eyes are probably the most beautiful i've ever seen. i love the background, as well. i think it adds to the story of the photograph. you really have an incredible eye for the portrait. you have a remarkable ability to look through your subject's eyes to bottom of their soul. and, i am jealous that you get to take so many wonderful photographs of esther.

Die Schatten verteilen sich weich auf Körper und Gesicht,dennoch wirkt das modell insgesamt "voll ausgeleuchtet"
