it seems only the shutter of your nikon works in the states mr.Miller,and not the focusing mechanism... :-P
lucky for you though,since you wouldn't have BIPped in this project if your camera was fully functional ;-)
the image is cute and i like how the title explains the vignetting and the blurring
i also agree that miss Morgan should be less jdfglwtRfd in her comment :-P

Dear Todd,
congrats for the BIP. this composing is well placed in the blurry image section. I find the vignetting a bit hard but it gets the viewer more focused to the middle. creative stuff.

todd, are you sure it's working right? looks like it's hesitant to focus ;^) but seriously, i dig this very much. the soft focus with the vignette gives this a "reverse-fisheye" effect. the photo looks convex. also, very sneaky of you to hide the lens flare in a field of dandelions. very cool photo!

i like this picture. everything is out of focus but the kind of shot it is allows that. given this sky, most photographers would have done something much more banal.
