Ian: Certainly, either give the 'blob' as you term it, some more form, and it would look better. In particular, it is how the 'blob' is 'kissing' the dragon's snout, and this looks strange due to the shallow DOF (I believe). But I LOVE the dragon - it was captured perfectly otherwise! ) Alice.

I am smitten with this creature. Perhaps it uses hypnosis as a defence. Alice would pulling back to explain the blob with a bit more form (though not neccesarilly definition) also have been an option here? It is a beautiful creature.

Fantastic portrait. The focus around the head and eyes is just perfect. Congratulations. But the fuzzy bit to the right is a bit distracting, it would have been good to see the dragon's left front leg/foot, and perhaps a little more light. Those eyes will stay in my mind for a while ) Cheers, Alice.
