First of all... you have some wonderful nature and scenic shots.
In this particular image, the composition is very nicely handled and the shallow DOF works very well for the situation.
I especially like how the background is neither shallow or very dark or light... but rather a soft mixture.
Nicely done.

Nice shot of the little hummer Greg. Compositionally, I would have cropped some from the top and left edge to get the bird better positioned in the frame and minimize the hot spots in the top of the frame. Regards, Pete

Great portrait of this little fellow. Greg why don't you clone out the dead leaf that hangs below his feet. It sure draws the eye away from this great picture of the hummer. Don.
