About Expired roll of film I developed myself.

I seem to cut the top of her head off in a lot of photos and I don't really notice it until I look at the photo later. It doesn't usually bother me, but I wouldn't mind some input as to whether it's a good or bad thing.

Oh My God Christine.. immediatkly in my fav.. my dear the eyes of hanna speak alone! a wonderful light, is an intense look that is disarming, leaves without words and "open mouth".. a bigone portarit intimate, of feeling and little sad.. moreover the technique of the development is present also and prints! emotionally touching.
cheers
roby

(just a perfect BIP deserved..)

Congratulations, Christine on BIP! Quite an accomplishment. And quite a photo. Obviously, your fears about the photo and cutting off the head were for naught.

Bravo,

Dave

There's only one Christine Campbell, like there's only one Dorothea Lange.

Duh... I just realized who Dorothea Lange was! *forehead slap*

She did the 'Migrant Mother' photo about the peapickers plight. I just read about her in a book last week and didn't put 2+2 together until re-reading this just now.

Thanks, now I realize that was a compliment for sure ;-)

Stunning photograph. Her expression, the open-mouth, and the tumbled hair really give her an innocent and naive look. Seems to be very candid and un-planned, which I very much like. I don't think cropping off the top of her head was a bad thing - it tightens up your framing, imo. Nicely done.

beautiful image ! cuting off her head ? in this image..it's a good thing ! maybe your eye naturally "sees" the cropping as it enhanced the image in this one ! don't fret over success !
lovely tones !

This is a great shot Christine!!! I think you did an excellent job here. I cut heads off too, or feet. If it isn't one it is the other. :) Beautiful photo.

Here the cropped head does not bother me at all. And I think this and the second image of her is your best work so far.
