Hallo Ursula, hier ist es zwar sehr symetrisch aber man sieht sofort die Bearbeitung.....
Das andere Originalphoto "lebt", manchmal finde ich die unbearbeiteten Photos viel natürlicher.....

in der tat ist die stimmung recht depressiv hier drin, nun bei dem wetter dort auch kein wunder...die tiefe des bildes ist beeindruckend, dennoch...irgendwie ist mir diese symmetrie zu "glatt", vor allem was den hintergrund betrifft. irgendwie sucht mein auge in diesem bild immer nach einem punkt, der diese symmetrie durchbrechen könnte....aber das ist natürlich nur ein ganz subjektiver eindruck. betrachtet man die bearbeitung noch an sich, die man dank des ebenfalls von dir gezeigten orignals ja gut abschätzen kann, so kann man deine motivation hierfür noch besser nachvollziehen...

Many thanks Hugo,for commenting on my pictures(though this is with very much foreign help)...but thats exactly my imagination,to remove all that unimportant objects besides the wharf.And I like the rainy mood..

sehr schöne Umarbeitung. Die Perspektive hat was Unendliches, ziemlich depressiv das Ganze ;-)
Die Zentrierung ist wirklich etwas statisch (as hugo said), allerdings kann ich durchaus nachvollziehen, warum Du das Ganze so symmetrisch gestaltet hast... Etwas stört mich allerdings doch, und das sind die kleinen Fehlerchen im Wasser & Himmel. Die hätte man auch noch rausmachen können. Aber mach Dir keinen Kopf deswegen, die Überarbeitung ist trotzdem stark.

At first I chose the Warf 2 image, as it looked much more dynamic from the thumbnail. Looking at this one, I still think the composition is a bit static, but the atmosphere is much stronger, mainly because of the absence of periferal objects (the dingies) Very moody image.

If one tilts one's head... either way... or better take your screen and turn 90 degrees... look long enough and there appears to be a wonderful Young Lady's breast.... Oooops
Interesting work... but then this Young lady should place herself upon the wharf... running stark naked and diving with all her strength... off the end... now that would be interesting... as this Village Idiot is already out there in the water with his cam to take that action!
