About Heard there was an air show in Minneapolis while listening to the radio on the way home. Thats where i am at. looking out my Daughters office window, I can still see the planes flying. I kinda liked this shot taken with the Canon Pro1, so uploaded to get your opinion. Looks kinda like it should be from bygone days ?

Hey Jim!
Beautiful shot of the airfield and "twins" at the show. I like planes....don't listen to the masses about the comments... My x was a (multi-licensed)flight instructor, so I've spent a great many hours in small planes of all kinds. I once got a ride in the original coca cola bi plane at an air show in Las Vegas back in the 80's. Went up with the daughter of the owner while she performed some loops and spirals. Have also flown in a few crop duster bi planes. Love the freedom up there. Looks like you have quite a collection of nice shots. Take care.... Laurie

Tim

Thakns for the comments. i shot about 40 shots with the Little Pro1 just to see what i would get. I was at my daughters so was using my laptop for sizing etc and Internet connection. I showed this to my wife and her response was " I can hardly see the planes " So I showed her the D70 shots taken with the 300MM and that didn't do it for her either. Girls don't like planes much I guess.

Lovely ...the color is outstanding and the two planes are very cool...I have had the pleasure of standing in a hot place all day watching an air show...once was enough for me...lol..

Great shot Jim. The vast amount of sky accentuates the presence of the planes. I like the colourful rolling landscape as well. The planes put me in mind of Snoopy and the Red Baron, the song about a WW1 German fighter pilot.

Gosh ... fabulous colours! Even without the biplanes it would still be a great image!

Beautifully crisp and clear landscape, Jim, with the added bonus of the two biplanes twisting across the sky.
Fine shot all round.
Kind regards, Chris

I love your picture, we cannot say if the picture was taken in the "20", because the type of the planes, like Camel's plane in 1920.
