Hi Pieter I actually did a crop along Mary'ssuggested lines and uploaded it but it doesnt seem to have stuck. Another factor in the sky colour that must be borne in mind is that the air around Australia's Euclalypt forests frequently is filled with a pale haze caused by the release of eucalyptus oil into the atmosphere

I like these kind of photos. The only thing that i battle with is the hazy look of the sky - all washed out. What Mary said makes sense to me... if i understand her correctly. You'll see less of the sky (if at all). Don't get me wrong, i think your composition is great - subject is well framed. But if one can get rid of the washed out sky, why not?

very nice image!!
I had an idea thinking in terms of lines...I will tell you what without this to mean that the imge is better this way and the rest, it will just be another image...
try cropping the image so that it ends in the upper part of the 2 trees, in this way the top of the mountains is not visible and immediately you have a nature photo with lines, divided into 2 eqal triangles!!
