About No, not electromagetic pulse (because I know that is what you were thinking).
This is the amazing architecture of Frank Gehry as he designed Seattle's Experience Music Project. My wife and brother were waiting for me to get a space needle shot I already posted, and when I came around this beautiful building (there are NO corners on this building)... this shot presented itself. I like the subtle hues reflected off the steel bulkhead.

A string of computers were used to calculate the design of each sheet... which then with lasers were cut and drilled with NASA precision... and still a number did not fit... but the sheer final majesty is something to be admired!

You took an amazing angle to represent Frank Gehry. It really shows that you don't have to take a full shot to show Gehry's art. Well done!

Thank you for asking for the quote for your now 'final-string' of your 'About'... the "i's" are dotted. the "t's" are crossed... but let's not forget the bolts that have popped here and there... for the sheer stresses from the bends that are increased with the temperature changes! ;)

Is this another Gehry?

Looks just like the Disney Concert Hall here in L.A.

Lovely

You caught the tones and reflections all right. But most of all, you caught the enigma, like that source of light outside the frame on the left, with the folks looking at it.

Well, the central sculpture (shown in another post here) is pretty impressive, but nothing compares to the various facets and colors of the exterior.

An interesting compostion Paul. The figures are needed to give a sense of scale. Is the inside of the building as interesting as the outside? Regards John

Hi Paul, this is excellent! I wasn't sure what it was... looked like someone has parked a Boeing 747 in your garden :-)
Beautiful capture of all the different metallic tones, shapes and forms. Well seen. in fact the only negative point is the rubbish bin (i presume) in the background, but not much you could do about that. Thanks for your comment today. Best wishes - Neil

Hi Paul, Amazing architecture, the steel face of the building creates an incredible dynamic shot, and a excellent playful use of light. The addition of the two people on the left create an excellent refrenece to the sheer size of the builing.... All in all a fantastic shot, very well captured!

Cheers,

Hugo

looks like a building by Frank Gehry. You have achieved an excellent angle that is interesting. The color is fantastic to. Really lends a mood with the reflected blue lighting.
