Hi Anne,
Both Zion and Bryce are absolutely FANTASTIC, I do hope you get to see them some day! I think my husband and I will be going there again in the near future. Althought we've been there once, it wasn't enought time!

This is a great image--so glad you were able to save it, but so sorry about your others. The light spots on this are really fantastic, and the colors are beautiful. Well done!
Thanks for your comment on my Tioga Lake photo. This was my first time in this part of Yosemite while the snow was still on the ground, so I was very excited to be there. I would love to see Zion, I've heard so much about it.

Yep, lots of mileage!
Is the external hard drive an easy 'plug n play'?
I saw one advertised today at a good price, $119.00 for 120 gig. That's a lot of space. Large file photos sure eat it up, why did I wait until this happened? I should have listened to that voice telling me something!!! :)

Sorry to hear about the computer. Things happen that we have no control over. I keep all photos on a seperate hard drive and a back up copy of the originals on the other drive. This is beautiful color. You sure have gotten the mileage out of this rose. It has been very good for you. Nice light and detail. Don.

Lori..we can all relate to your computer ups and downs..... Smiles.... I am glad that you kept some photos I have been burning mine to a cd when they start taking up too much room. I do like this rose very much it is beautiful dried or alive.... Warm smiles as you get back up and running here... =))

Love this Lori - I am surprised to see how the pink changed colour. STILL an incredibly beautiful rose and worth your $5 :-)
What's great is how the texture of the background compliments the "old age" texture of the rose petals and leaves! Colour is beautiful, light spots adds to it, frame rounds this off beautifully - just like a fattening desert after a delicious meal :-)
Baddddd news about the sick 'puter :-(( I am dreading it happening to mine and have been begging Robert to do a back-up! We are waiting for our "ship" to come in so that he can get a new laptop and I can inherit his old (but fast) computer and lovely big screen. Seems the ship is not coming into port :-((

Great photo though and a good start to your new hard disk (this time make a back up .....please). I love the colours. At first, on the thumbnail, i thought you had worked on this with a texture! But i was pleased to see it was natural. Very nice work Lori. Best wishes - Neil
