It probably looked no better to the inmates who once lived there. I like the toning.

Wow! Really incredible that you have made something so old and "dying" looking so beautiful and alive! Fantastic light and very beautiful photo!

This is interesting Lori, makes you think about all the people that have looked out this window and know that the will never be free again. I like the toning. Don.

Now this is more of a shot of 'lock-up'.
Great exposure and a tense angle leading right into the corner. Very nice.

Hi Lori, Absolutely faboulous shot! I was already looking foreward to these when I commented on your SF view. The tension and atmosphere in this shot are very strong. Absolutely my type of photo...;o) The smell of abandonment and decay is almost tangible...(I'm sure you understand what I mean...;o) Very well composed and exposed.

Cheers,

hugo

Powerful image, Lori.
I think the large area of black just adds to the sense of despair.
Kind regards, Chris

Ho Lori, this would be a great window to hang my washing out of :) (thanks for your comment)
Very nice capture and lovely light. I like the fact that it is dirty, old etc. i can really feel for the despair that the inmates here must have had. Nice photo!
Besz wishes, Neil
