Kevin,
Hi. Thanks for your comments on my photo recently. I did also consider cropping the photo as demonstrated but it was saved as shown due to using it in a frame. The original is actually taken portrait to emphasise the pillars - when you crop it square it seams such a shame to remove so much of them - this was part of the reason for not cropping further. MAybe I'll post teh original as that would give you an idea. In fact I've attached it here for you.
This phoo appealed as I've got many similar of my ginger cat. Just watch out for when they come out the bag as the handles are often styled as a necklace - great for a laugh though!
The flash kills this. If you have a built in flash so can not use bounce just stick your hand in front of the bulb when taking the shot (assuming there is some ambient light and a nearby surface to bounce, you'll get much more natural results and some lift curtsey of teh flash. It's just a little hard to hold a camera with one had sometimes!
Enjoy Matt

Lol, this is so funny, my cat does this all the time. Sometimes she steals PVC bag, take it to her "bed" to keep her warm :)

Great shot, would look even better cropped tighter only seeing the brown providing better composition, but fun as is.

Hi, Kevin. I found your cat photograph very interesting. People say "Don't let the cat out of the bag" :)So, u didn't take that chance to let it get out. Sometimes little emotional elements in our photos make them more receptive. Like the Title in your picture 'Cat to go'. How often have we been forced to leave our cats somewhere else because the landlord won't allow them.
Regarding my picture 'Deserted', I actually waited for the couple to be there so that I can give a feel that the bench had been deserted by them. I took another shot without the people but that was just a shot and not a picture. I hope you understand what I mean by Shot and Picture. Cheers

well a hard shot to take as these guys don't stay still for long in those bags and i see that its evening time and you used flash. there is a bit of overexposure. but i love the composition here. the look on the face is pretty. they just love to explore don't they?:)

The flash left the lighting a bit flat, but the subject matter is splendid. It's amazing how many things cats can 'make a home' out of.
