Incredibly subtle and beautiful. After looking at all the suggested variations, I think I like the original best. :)

Wow, what a tricky composition... I love the fact that the colour is so deep that the foreground at the bottom is only noticeable after a moment of looking... it adds mystique to this image. And the fact that you managed to get the "other side of the moon" shadow in there as well... perfectly exposed.

Thanks so much for the comment on the heron... it was a nice ending to a great day of shooting (although I did proceed to move on from baby ducks to baby geese with not much better of an outccome! hahahaha. I'm glad that baby bird season is almost over... I keep running out of film!)

Thanks for the comments.

Sergio, I like what you did, but I might crop off less than you did. In a conversation, someone suggested a square crop. Here is a quick version to illustrate that idea.

Ops! Only now I saw it lost some light in the resizing, but you get the point. :/

Mary,

this is a very tricky composition and a very beautifull one.

I liked the feeling of silence and emptyness in it and tried to accentuate it.

See if you like it. :)

Best regards,
Sérgio
